Nice decor; relatively clean; fast check-in; good breakfast items; safe & secure location.

Smell to the carpets--looks like they either need professional steam cleaning or replacement.

Check-in was quick, and the desk clerk was friendly and courteous. Carpets need a good steam cleaning or replacement--they had a slight, skunk-like odor to them. The rooms are supposed to be non-smoking, but the fabrics seem to have absorbed smoke (drapes, carpet, bedding), since there's an odor of cigarettes lingering in the room. Service was certainly lacking.

Despite the very friendly staff, the service was disappointingly poor. On one of the days there room service was never performed in the room! We also called the front desk to replace the iron which was literally cracked and leaked water. After waiting 20 minutes for a new iron to be delivered to the room I went out to the hallway and asked one of the maids to let me use the iron from the room she was cleaning. No one ever did arrive with an iron as a result of my initial call to the front desk. ...read more

Noise, hills, pool too far from rooms.

I was not impressed. The pool was located much too far from the rooms and the freeway noise was almost too much to bear.
